The best thing about this summer was being unplugged from the world of media and technology. There were no distractions and so I found myself fully engaged with others and God.
I enjoyed the simplicity of life and our mission there was so clear.
Some may have found it challenging to start from scratch with the ministry in such a remote location, but my sister and I enjoyed forming relationships with those in the community, building a foundation for years to come, and finding a time and place for the service.
We were able to attend a community church and this helped because many members would come and support us from week to week at our services at Stehekin. There was a lot of opportunity for interaction with the guests and telling them about how we ended up in the park was a great way to tell them about the ACMNP services.

The Lord said, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
