Advanced Leadership Development Program

Advanced Leadership Development Program (ALDP)

12-16 individuals will be selected to participate in a leadership growth and development program unique to A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP). ALDP participants will explore their Christian leadership capacities identified in the Lion’s Lead Leadership Assessment, spearhead a ministry project in their assigned park, assist with the ACMNP National Training Conference, and reflect on their leadership development during and after their season. Participants will receive leadership training and support from ACMNP National Staff, Ministry Support Committee, and a mentor. Upon completion of all program requirements, participants will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

If chosen to participate in ACMNP’s Advanced Leadership Development Program, you will be asked to embrace significant, faith-stretching challenges and responsibilities. As you respond to God’s leadership calling, you will help develop others and make a positive impact on the park communities. We will rely on you to lead where you land and leave a lasting mark on your park community and the ACMNP Ministry Team in the name of Jesus Christ. If selected for ALDP, you will be required to attend an ACMNP Training Conference in Estes Park on April 11-13 or in North Carolina on May 9-11. The ALDP Training and ACMNP Training Conference is covered by the $350 program fee; travel to the trainings is not. ACMNP can provide a fundraising guide to help you cover your expenses.
