One of the best things about this winter was getting to explore a new place and living in the tropics.

I have always preferred warm weather, but have lived in the Midwest my entire life, so I absolutely loved the constant sunshine in St. John.

I was so excited to take up new watersports like diving and sailing.

While I was in St. John, I got my PADI scuba certification. During my last certification dive, I went to about 50 feet. The entire time I was filled with an incredible sense of wonder and awe that God’s creation stretches so deep and so wide as the ocean and beyond.

Every time I snorkeled or dove, I saw something I had never seen or noticed before. It still blows my mind how creative my God is!
