The Lord revealed to me the meaning and necessity of discipleship and accountability. Working with the four others on my team and seeing how God bonded us so tightly within just the first few days of us coming together goes to show that no matter what, when your common bond is the Lord Jesus Christ and you are faithful and seeking Him, He will bless you.

Well, He will bless you even if you’re not doing those things, but still. God blessed us so much.

Coming home, only days after the summer ended, I felt a void inside of me and I still do. Not only because I am not in constant fellowship with the friends that I grew to love, but I have found it is because I am craving that discipleship and accountability that each and every one of the team members at the Great Smokies had to offer me and each other.

I am lacking it just as I was going into the summer. It is now my mission, yearning and prayer to find discipleship here at my campus in North Georgia.
