My favorite part about ACMNP was getting to hear and be a part of all my coworkers’ stories. I have a passion for stories and the lives of others, and it was so cool to watch us grow in vulnerability as the summer progressed.
They are living, breathing, precious people, all with their own hopes, fears, struggles, and dreams.
They are not stereotypes and I got to let them know that as I listened to them. They needed to be listened to and know that there is someone who genuinely cares about them and thinks that they matter. That was the part I enjoyed most about my summer in the park!
