I encountered God in Creation while spending time worshipping Him while on one of the overhanging rocks. One time I sat there and watched the sunset over the valley, turning half dome orange and pink. I was listening to worship music.
Enjoying that beautiful sunset with 3000 feet of air below my feet was amazing. God’s beauty, majesty and power felt overwhelming.
I also encountered God in creation when I would go and sit in a meadow, looking at Yosemite falls, half dome, and El Capitan, to have some alone time to pray and think about my sermons.
Meditating on the Glory of God revealed in Scripture while looking creation that reflects that Glory is amazing. The fact God and the love that he has shown us on the Cross is more glorious than Yosemite’s views is awesome.

The Lord said, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
