This summer, I was reminded that my life is not about me executing plans that I make.

It’s about surrendering my time to God and taking a step back to let His will unfold in my life instead of being discontent with my situation.

There were times I was feeling disappointed about my summer because the things I wanted to happen weren’t working out, but then I remembered that maybe my plan was not God’s plan, and that I could trust Him to work out the details that were beyond my control to His satisfaction.

That’s what matters.
