I encountered the Lord every day in the surrounding beauty of Alaska and the town of Seward. There was not a day where I was grew “used to” the scenery or thought it was normal. I stepped outside and was filled with awe of God’s creation.
I was out on a hike with my coworker and friend and we found ourselves talking about God and creation nearly the entire way.
It was a 14-mile hike to Lost Lake and the scenery was unlike anything I had seen in the three to four months spent in Alaska. My friend said, “You know I am really glad I went on this hike with someone else who believes in God, because we can appreciate it for what it really is and voice it!” That was so encouraging to hear.

The Lord said, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
