The summer of 2006 with ACMNP in Yosemite National Park changed the trajectory of my life. I met my wife, gained a best friend in one of my fellow ACMNP alums, created lifelong friendships, and developed an unquenchable passion for exploring God’s creation.

The majority of Yosemite employees live amongst each other in communities of canvas tent cabins. Little did I know, but my tentmate and fellow ACMNP team member would become my best friend to this day. We still share life together and push each other in our walks with God, roles as husbands and fathers, and in our outdoor pursuits. Not only that, but my tent cabin next door neighbor became my girlfriend that summer and is now my wife of nine years.

In 2009, we came back to Yosemite Valley where it all started to share our wedding day with many of the friends from that special summer with ACMNP.
