One night, we were practicing our worship songs, and one of our team members opened the door only to find a group of about a half a dozen employees sitting on the ground, applauding us. They immediately asked to come in and listen to the music we were playing.
A few of them were curious to read the song lyrics and asked if they could join in singing and playing along.
What an amazing moment from God. We ended up playing worship songs and other tunes with what grew to be about fifteen of our neighbors for another two hours. Afterword, we decided that since many people’s work schedules didn’t allow them to come to our Sunday service, we would start a worship night once a week. I spent the next few days with some of our neighbors, and it is incredible how willing some people are for a change of pace here in our village.
One of the first weeks in the park, a few of us in the ministry went to a beautiful place called Mirror Lake.
There was fog on the water and over the granite walls around us, and it was definitely a moment where all of us felt God’s presence and beauty among us.
We prayed together and sang worship songs by the water that day.

The Lord said, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
