The first and greatest thing a believer can do for the work of the Kingdom is to pray.

Every day, our ParkLife team members serve in national and state parks—living out their faith in full view of communities that are watching closely, often with skepticism. It’s a calling that requires courage, grace, and steadfast prayer support.

In Life Together, Dietrich Bonhoeffer reminds us, “A Christian fellowship lives and exists by the intercession of its members for one another, or it collapses.” That’s why we’re inviting you to become part of the spiritual backbone of this ministry.

You may not be near a park. You may not be able to travel. But through prayer, you can stand right beside our teams—lifting them up daily, asking God to give them wisdom, strength, protection, and joy as they faithfully serve their coworkers, NPS, and visitors to the parks..

As Richard Halverson wrote, “Intercession is the truly universal work for the Christian. No place is closed to intercessory prayer: no continent, no nation, no city, no organization, no office. No power on earth can keep intercession out.” Prayer reaches where people cannot. And your prayers matter.

Becoming a Prayer Partner means committing to supporting our teams through faithful intercession. Letters and care packages are also welcome ways to encourage them—small gestures that often bring big encouragement.
