Over the last few days, our National Office and Board of Directors have been prayerfully discerning our response to the recent COVID-19 virus that has taken the world by storm.
While there are many uncertainties that lie ahead, we can rest assured knowing that we look to a big God who both knows and holds the future. Stay encouraged!
We feel more strongly than ever that God has called ACMNP to love and serve those in national park communities. With the CDC recommendation to limit travel and group interaction, many of the park partners we work with are living through a time of uncertainty as they figure out how to stay financially afloat with limited visitation and also plan forward without much foresight to what would normally be a busy summer.
We want to call the ACMNP community to prayer. Please remember leaders in national park communities who need to make big decisions. Please pray for those working in the hospitality industry who are living paycheck to paycheck. Please pray for those who have been affected, that they may recover quickly and limit the spread of the virus. Please pray for the world as we learn to trust in God, lean on one another, and show more grace and love than fear.
We remain committed to the mission of ACMNP and are grateful for your ongoing support. For those planning to serve this summer season with us, we have changed our training model from an in-person format to an online structure. We will continue to keep everyone informed as we move through this journey together.
Thank you for being a part of the ACMNP family! Our prayers are with you, too!
