Welcome to the 9th annual ACMNP Women in the Wilderness!!

Coming this October, we will be hosting our ninth annual IMPACT trip geared specifically for women. We can’t wait to gather ladies from all across the country together for a few intentional days of exploring God’s beautiful creation, growing in our own personal leadership capacities, talking about soul care, worshiping in a national park, and volunteering within the parks. These few days will be filled with fun, laughter, depth, growth, reflection, and community…trust us, you won’t want to miss this!

This year, there will be space for 10 ladies to join us. Please note that we will be staying in shared accommodations and traveling in a van together. We ask that you consider these factors as you determine whether or not to join.

Since we only have 10 spots available, we wanted to get information out as soon as possible for you to reserve your place. Once you hear from us, we will send you a link to submit your non-refundable $100 deposit to secure and hold your place.

When? Friday, October 9 from 4:00pm through Monday, October 12 at 11:00am

Where? Channel Islands National Park and nearby State Parks (Leo Carrillo, Point Dume, etc.)! We will be staying in an AirBnb together in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA and will be taking trips in and out of the parks as well as spending time at the AirBnb.

Transportation: There are three options for transportation. You can drive yourself and meet us at the AirBnb, you can ask to carpool with another participant who may be driving, or you can fly into Los Angeles (LAX) or Burbank (BUR) airport and be picked up en route to the AirBnb. Before booking your airfare, please be sure to register first, and wait for further instructions. We have specific times you will need to arrive and depart by. If you are interested in driving yourself and meeting us there, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Cost: $399 per person for registration. This includes transportation, fuel, meals (all but one dinner where we will be eating out and paying separately), lodging, 75th anniversary ACMNP t-shirt, water bottle, Lions Lead Leadership Assessment (worth $50+) and entrance into the parks. Each person will need to pay an additional $72 for the ferry to Channel Islands and an optional $159 extra to participate in a 1.5 hour kayak tour through the Channel Islands caves and shoreline. If you’d like to do the kayaking, then your total would be $630. Without kayaking, your total would be $471.

If the costs are a concern to you, note that we can facilitate a payment plan ($100 non-refundable deposit due to reserve your spot + the ferry/kayak fees (either $72 if not kayaking or $231 if you are kayaking), but we can work to make the remaining payments manageable (balance would be $299).

Who? This is open to all women who are interested in growing in their own personal leadership development and networking with other great ladies. Please note that we will have times that require some physical activity, including kayaking and hiking, and service project opportunities. Additionally, lodging will be in shared accommodations to promote a sense of community and facilitate good conversations. Alumni of the ministry, and non-alum are welcome to join!
